R.I.P. Rodney
A girl phoned me the other day and said… Come on over, there’s nobody home. I went over. Nobody was home.
– Rodney Dangerfield, 1921-2004
Rodney ‘I don’t get no respect’ Dangerfield, master of one-liners and stand-up comic par excellence passed away at the age of 82 when complications arose after a heart valve replacement surgery.
He will be missed by all those who’ve come to enjoy his brand of self-deprecating, acid-tongued, put-down humour that almost always targetted himself.
You can find a wealth of his quotes on this Google search.

I remember him but not his movies…can you name a few :-)
Yes, I heard about him on the news…
Sumedha >> The most popular of his movies, that comes to mind readily, is ‘Back to School‘. Another role was as Lucifer in the Adam Sandler comedy, ‘Little Nicky‘. He also played a dramatic, non-comic role in that controversial Oliver Stone movie, ‘Natural Born Killers‘.
