Was just watching Jaipur Lit Fest excerpts on NDTV: Barkha Dutt said, and I paraphrase… the man who started the war on terror (implying Bush, we can safely assume no?) has been ousted. Errr Barkha… in democracies we vote to select, we do not vote to oust. Moreover, Bush was anyway not in the fray, was he now? Tch tch…

After waking up to this news, I could not help but think that there’s something about NDTV. I mean, think about it… Barkha Dutt, Rajdeep Sardesai and Arnab Goswami… all the members of this hyperventilating triad of India’s TV journalism originated from the NDTV stable. In my personal opinion, they lay more emphasis on theatrics than mature, accurate and responsible journalism.
